OUR HISTORY.
Long ago, in 1969, I travelled to the west coast of Mexico with my brother and parents where we lived
for six months in little seaside towns. Even as a child, I was very impressed with the many family run
businesses I frequented there with my family and I decided then and there that one day, I would create a
family business and work together with my big brother, Mark and my future children.
Cafe des Beaux Arts is that dream come true for me, a place where I can display beautiful art, prepare
simple and delicious and healthy foods for my family and guests and friends and also a place where
people feel comfortable and take the time to talk to one another and enjoy a hot cappucino or avocado
bagel sandwhich or a Sunday roast dinner.
We use wonderful bagels baked here in Liverpool in a terrific bakery in Chinatown called The Bagelry
which uses organically grown Cotswold flour. We also specialise in grass fed meats from a farm in
Lancastershire County called Green Pasture Farms.
Sunday evening from four to six , is our jam session where we invite you to join us with your voice,
instrument and good cheer for a time of music making.
Come and drop in and have a warm drink next to our wood burning stove and relax and converse with us
in our family-neighourhood cafe.
A bientot and see you soon!
Julie and family.
